Philo

As a FedEx contract service provider, we expect all drivers to provide P&D service to our customers safely, accurately and with a great deal of efficiency.

Safety is first!

All drivers must observe all traffic laws, wear a seatbelt and operate the vehicle in a safe manner. This includes always using turn signals when changing lanes and turning. Using flashers when parked. It also means operating in a safe manner on highways by staying in the right lane and staying under 70 MPH. Commercial drivers have a higher responsibility for safety – operate safely and anticipate the actions of aggressive, inattentive, or distracted drivers on the roads we operate on.

Accuracy

FedEx holds MMV to high standards in all elements of pickup and delivery services. We must deliver the correct package to the correct address and location. All drivers will make a best attempt to obtain the correct address when they run into a bad address. Delivering to the wrong address or the wrong package to an address (Mis-deliveries) and sloppy/lazy delivering to non-designated areas is not tolerated. Pickups are a critical service for customers. All pickups will be scanned at the pickup location and within the proper pickup window. All drivers will act with integrity in all P&D activities.

Efficiency

Drivers are expected to provide P&D services safely, accurately and efficiently. Drivers are expected to have a clean and well organized truck and not rely on FedEx to accurately load trucks into proper zones. Drivers are expected to perform P&D activities with a sense of urgency and make a best effort to maintain a minimum of 20 stops per hour (certain routes will not meet this threshold and others will allow this productivity in half the time.)

STRATEGIC DIRECTION

MMV is trying to consolidate their contract service area by acquiring more of partial zip codes owned and divesting of other partially owned zip codes. MMV will continue to purchase new trucks that are primarily the large P1200s and divest older trucks. Our strategic goal is to have the entire fleet consist of trucks no older than 5 years.
We strive to be the premier contract service provider in our facility by recruiting and hiring talent and sharp drivers and compensating people fairly and treating them with dignity and respect.
